Liteideas has quickly established itself as one of the industry’s leading commercial lighting design companies. It was founded in 1998 by Litetask in order to meet demand from specifiers for an independent, technically-sound and highly creative lighting design service.

Architects, designers, consultants and endusers can now all turn to one of the most experienced lighting design teams in the UK. Our schemes take into consideration the total cost of the project - products, installation, maintenance and energy efficiency - as well as illumination levels and, of course, aesthetics.

Liteideas is independent of any manufacturer and we recommend products purely on the basis of what is best for the project. Our designers are traditionally trained in lighting design and use the most sophisticated technology to create on-budget, to-deadline, legislation-compliant lighting schemes - all with the added Liteideas 'wow factor'! We use cutting-edge software including AutoCAD and the lighting calculation interface RELUX. Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop are use to produce specification sheets. Requests for lighting schemes can be emailed as CAD files and we are then able to work directly on to these drawings to produce a detailed design: saving valuable time and money.
